Historique et \u00e9volution :<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>
Construit en 1818 \u00e0 la rue des Haies d\u2019Avesnes, actuellement nomm\u00e9e rue de Mitrecq, \u00e0 Dour, il s\u2019agit d\u2019une maison construite par la famille Jouveneau qui lui donn\u00e8rent le nom de \u00ab\u00a0Ch\u00e2teau Jouveneau\u00a0\u00bb. Dans ce contexte, il est int\u00e9ressant de constater que nous ne pouvons pas affirmer qui furent l\u2019ensemble de ses habitants. Toutefois, ce ch\u00e2teau servit de gendarmerie mais aussi de brasserie un temps.<\/p>
Au cours de l\u2019ann\u00e9e 1908, il fut aussi occup\u00e9 par un bureau d\u2019assurances. En 1911-1912, il devient un dispensaire chirurgical communal. Cela emp\u00eachera les Allemands d\u2019en prendre possession pendant la Premi\u00e8re Guerre mondiale. Il le restera jusqu\u2019en 1919. Par la suite, la famille Jouveneau d\u00e9cida de le vendre. Ainsi, le ch\u00e2teau eut pendant un court instant un locataire, Vital Limoges. Puis, le 30 novembre 1921, il devint la propri\u00e9t\u00e9 de la famille Paillot qui le transformera en ferme. Par ailleurs, il est int\u00e9ressant de noter que le ch\u00e2teau resta la propri\u00e9t\u00e9 de la famille jusqu\u2019\u00e0 nos jours. En effet, actuellement, il est mis en vente.<\/p>
