La soci\u00e9t\u00e9 Sainte-Barbe de Blaugies fut fond\u00e9e en 1870. Elle avait pour but de regrouper des mineurs de la r\u00e9gion. Ainsi, elle fut supprim\u00e9e en 1922 avant d\u2019\u00eatre reconstitu\u00e9e en 1936.<\/p>
Si cette association a disparu aujourd\u2019hui, on peut n\u00e9anmoins retrouver des traces de son existence comme, par exemple, son drapeau qui est actuellement expos\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9glise paroissiale Saint-Aubin de Blaugies.<\/p>
